MeeGo, New Operating Systems Merger & Maemo Moblin


Referring to the success achieved by the parties who have first Google Android gush as an Open Source operating system turned out to make another party do not want to miss. Evidenced by the persistence undertaken by the new Intel and Noki just launched the latest hybrid mobile operating system which is also open source named MeeGo.

Interestingly this operating system is not operating system really new but is a collaboration of the two operating systems namely Moblin and Maemo.

Kai Oistamo, vice president of Mobile Phones has just announced it has combined the performance of Nokia and Intel to work together MeeGo where both strength Moblin and Maemo operating systems also negotiate together.

MeeGo operating system itself is intended for mobile operating systems, netbooks, tablets and TV which is intended to stop the fragmentation of the market which is dominated by the party during the Apple and Google. This operating system using the QT framework so that later applications may be used for handset MeeGo Symbian and Maemo as well.

"MeeGo is the open source operating systems, Linux project is also experimenting with a project led by Intel's Moblin and Maemo, developed by Nokia. Both were eventually united into a single open source operating system. MeeGo integrate the experience and the ability of two different ecosystems, which combines communication and computing technology. MeeGo will be hosted by the Linux Foundation and administered by using best practices models in the development of open source operating system. Reportedly the first time MeeGo-based devices will soon be launched in the second quarter of this year 2010.
